About

Back Story

Born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Michael Hart was practically destined for the stage. His musical journey began in his childhood basement, where he soaked in the sounds of his father jamming to legends like The Eagles, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Kenny Rogers, and Elvis. That early exposure laid the foundation—but it was at age 12, when Michael picked up his first guitar—a Kramer Striker—that everything changed.

Hungry to play, he struck a deal with his parents: learn four songs on acoustic, and they’d buy him an electric. He came back with eight. Within a year, Michael formed his first band and played his first gig—at just thirteen years old. He hasn't looked back since.

Over the years, Michael has taken his fiery blend of blues, country, southern rock, and classic rock to stages across the U.S.—from smoky honky-tonks and rowdy clubs to amphitheaters and festivals in California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Boston, Memphis, and more. He’s shared the stage with some of country music’s biggest names, including Toby Keith, Eric Church, Rascal Flatts, Josh Turner, Clint Black, Glen Campbell, Brantley Gilbert, Sara Evans, and Randy Houser, among many others.

Michael’s guitar work is the soul of his sound—solid and dynamic rhythms paired with passionate, expressive leads that hit with grit and authenticity. Influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Waylon Jennings, Hank Jr., and even the raw power of 80s metal icons like Metallica and Guns N' Roses, Michael’s style is as diverse as it is powerful.

Whether he’s leading a band or playing solo, Michael Hart delivers a show that’s high-energy, heartfelt, and rooted in real American music.
